In its different business areas OCIDE promotes an environmental culture based on a sustainable development. The company´s commitment with the respect for the environment turned it into a pioneer in this field in the Valencian Community in 1996 when it received its first certificate on the Environment Management System for all its construction activities, in accordance with the ISO 14001 standard.
All of OCIDE´s activities are planned by taking into account the potential environmental impacts, for the purpose of mitigating these impacts, establishing the appropriate control methods in order to: reduce the noise, reduce the air emissions, carry out an adequate waste management, guarantee the absence of soil contamination, as well as keep a record of the natural resources and fuel consumption. All of that is accomplished through the application of assessment criteria and through establishing the necessary prevention actions.
