Currently, OCIDE is a company consolidated in all the phases of the building process, from engineering including planning and design, through the development of execution activities and to the service provision of maintenance and conservation to different Public Administrations.
OCIDE is an established company in the entire value chain of the construction field, implementing engineering in the phases of planning and design, and providing services like execution, maintenance and conservation works to different Public Administrations and private clients.
All these activities take place both within a national and international geographical framework, with a percentage above 50% of its revenues on the international level according to different financial years.
OCIDE´s roots date back to 1982. At the beginning, the company is specialized in the execution of hydraulic and water treatment works. Starting with 1990 OCIDE embarks on a diversification process comprising all the areas of construction works, services and maintenance in the public and private sector.
In 1997 the “Water Management” Department is created, being dedicated to the construction and operation of Sewerage and Water Supply Networks, as well as execution and conservation of the wastewater treatment plants, drinking water plants and irrigation infrastructure, including the complete water cycle. At present, this department is one of the most consolidated business lines of the company.
In 1999, in response to our clients´ demands, the “Public Service Department” is born, comprising activities connected to the management and maintenance of infrastructures.
In 2008 OCIDE starts a restructuring process on consolidated areas of activity, organizing itself into highly specialized independent governing bodies. With this the company takes a step further into its ideas of diversification and specialization as focal points of its business strategy, based from the beginning on a clear vocation to client service with a work system supported by three pillars: quality, efficiency and rapidity.
OCIDE´s expansion process materializes even more during 2009, by opening its business to the international market, establishing a branch in Romania and also continuing with its internationalization plan in other regions of Europe.
The experience and knowledge acquired during more than three decades of professional trajectory have allowed OCIDE to make its entry on other markets and develop its activity with total guarantee.
